we are home! Yay!

So we just got home today from the Maryland lacrosse trip. It was fun but I am so tired. I think we were up every morning at like four Utah time. They won two of their games and then lost two however one of the teams they beat was a division 1 team so overall it was a very impressive tournament. I have to say though I really miss playing and I really wish that Jordan was still playing hes really fun to watch. Here are some pictures from the trip, I took a ton! (I think over a thousand images....)
So we had to go take a tour of the capitol and it was b-o-r-i-n-g. I think I fell asleep standing up and our tour guide was some girl "working" her way up to the top of the white house.... bottom line she is the next Monica Lewinsky. Anyways the guy in this picture that Jordan is pointing at was another tour guide and he was well.,.... insane. He was so into the tour that the veins in his neck were bulging out. He was out of control. So we are really happy we are home and cant wait to see everyone on a few days! We are even more excited that we only have like three more weeks until we get married!!!! I cant wait!

I hate school, but I don't hate everything......

Here I am sitting in English class, being extremely frustrated with school... for good reason. We had a big proposal due today in class. I spent the last 4 hours freaking out and doing research and perfecting my proposal rough draft so I could turn it in on time. When I got to class I felt pretty satisfied about my proposal and I was hoping it would stack up to the others in my class. Boy was I disappointed when I got to class and we started to peer review everyone's proposal.

Girl 1: "I want to do research to see if girls are on diets"

That was the entire proposal!!!! MINE WAS 8 PAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girl 2: " I didn't do a proposal because it was hard and I didn't understand it"

Teacher: "Don't worry about it, just try to write something"

ARE WE SERIOUS!

I am over school. Please give me a Degree! Please?

Maybe it's just been a stressful week, and that's why I was on edge tonight, or maybe it's because the BRONCOS LOST 41-3!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I am happy as can be about the Rockies doing well, but I was NOT willing to trade a Rockies season for unbelievably poor start to the Broncos season!!! UGH!!!!

Now enough with the downside of life, and up with brighter side of my life.

1st thing that me smile

Every summer I coach summer camps in Utah, and in doing so I have met most of the population of High School lacrosse players in Utah County. One of the player I have made friends with, got himself in trouble, and it couldn't be any funnier.

This kid is borderline albino, and he decided it would be funny to streak the Pleasant Grove homecoming fashion show. That is funny! The best part is the aftermath. He was arrested and now faces a felony charge, and he there is a possibility that he will have to register as a sex offender with the state!!!!

here is the news story

"PROVO, Utah (AP) -- A Pleasant Grove teen might face jail time after streaking during the Pleasant Grove High School homecoming pageant.

The teen's name is not being released until an arrest has been made. The man will be charged with lewdness in the presence of a minor, a class A misdemeanor.

Police say the charge of lewdness in the presence of a minor stems from the fact that many young children were present in the audience of roughly 800 people.

If the teen is convicted, it is possible he will have to register as a sex offender because he is an adult."

Ok, good stuff, but it gets better. There is a section for comments on the KSL website, and the comments were HILARIOUS!

http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=1843233&comments=true

My personal favorite comment:

"You are perverted sex offenders. Stay away from our football games and our children. You may think that streaking is hilarious, and you would be right. But just because it is hilarious doesn't mean we can't ruin your life by transforming you into a sex offender. Let this be a lesson to all you prankster pervs out there in Utah County. We will not be streaked upon!!!"

THAT IS GOLD!!! These people are out of control, and it makes me laugh.

2nd reason I am happy:

The Rockies!!! For further reference on this amazing development in baseball, check out my sister Kayce's blog. It full of pictures and an actual account from being at the game. It's been really fun watching them, and let us pray the Sports Illustrated Curse doesn't bite us in the butt.

3rd Reason I am happy- The wait is almost over!! Next Tuesday marks a big day for me. You might be thinking it's only one month until I get married, and you'd be right, but TRANSFORMERS COMES OUT ON THE 16th! My favorite movie.....EVER!

I LOVE THAT MOVIE!

But honestly, I am way more excited that Victoria and I are down to month! We have our invitations and we will be sending them out soon! We are so excited, and we can't wait for the wait to be over! Plus, we were looking at Copper Mountain today and we cannot wait to go snowboarding for our honeymoon!

We will put up pictures from our awesome hike last Saturday soon!

The Great Finger Fiasco!

The Harris family has a solid tradition of finger injuries. It all started when the patriarch of the family, Marion, decided to cut his finger off when he was younger. Everyone has been trying to follow in his footsteps since then. Jayme had a valiant attempt when she slammed her finger in the back of a door hinge. Unfortunately there was enough skin and bones to keep the finger together.

Next in line to try was Kali. Embarrassed about her poor attempt so she hid her finger from the family until it was too late to stitch.

Well, Victoria has been doing her best to fit in with the family, so this past Sunday she gave the finger cutting off an attempt. She was cutting matte board for a class project when she slipped. Now this isn't a commercial, but those Cutco knifes are amazingly sharp. The only way to describe this cut is with pictures. Those with weak stomachs, please turn away now!

Needless to say I was a little surprised when I got home from church (Victoria skipped relief society, hence the accident)

So we rushed on over to the "InstantCare" in Orem. By instant they mean 2 hours later. I got quite bored (this is where all the camera phone pictures came from).

**Side Note- THE BEST THING about Doctors office...... HIGHLIGHTS MAGAZINE! We had a grand time trying to find all the hidden objects in the picture! Luckily there were no circles around every object like there are in some Doctor's office where little brats run amok. Click on the picture below and give it a try yourself and tell me it's not the best thing in the world! They were not lying when they said it would provide MINUTES of fun!

Anyway back to the story. Victoria was pretty nervous because she thought they were going to have to stick needles in her cut and scrub it clean. I assured her that they wouldn't have to do anything like that. Well, after we went back to see the Doctor they stuck needles in her cut and scrubbed it clean. Whoops! Don't worry, I got pictures of that too!

So after all was said and done, it was quite a Sunday! The downside, I got stuck cooking dinner. Well, I was able to take instuctions from Victoria about how to make dinner. And it turned out pretty good!

So Victoria is one step closer to becoming a Harris! Good Show Victoria! Less than 60 Days and it will be official and you won't have to worry about this finger nonsense!
I LOVE YOU VICTORIA! :)

Denver Broncos Are Bad For Your Heart!

I love football season!!!!

OK FINE! UPDATE!

So honestly folks! We have been awful at this. It has been a bit crazy around here for the past few weeks. I feel like we have barely enough time to breath! We helped moved 4 people in and out in the past two days.

Jayme and Max and Cute little Halle have left Utah. I'm very very sad, and we will both miss them so much, but we are so happy they are going back to Colorado. We will be following you shortly!!! Before they go, one last super cute picture of the best niece ever.

Next we got to move Kali into her new, very nice, apartment. We are so excited that Kali is back, and we have already had several young men at BYU express interest in "getting to know her better" Don't worry, I'm watching her like a hawk for Mindy.

Kayce was next on the list. We have been helping her on and off for a little while, but she has got quite the swingin' bachelorette pad. It is seriously so nice, and the best part of the whole place is the peep hole on the door is more like a video camera. It's amazing. You have to see it for yourself.

Lastly, and kind of leastly, but not really, we got to help my BBFF (Boy Best Friend Forever) Steven move into his place. It is less than a block away from where Victoria and I are living when we get married, and 2 blocks away from where I live now. How convenient! We both have matching scooters too, so we will ride hard or die. Well, we will will ride at a steady 35 mph anyway.
Steve just got married a few weeks ago, and I will post pictures of that later this week! It was awesome!

Lastly we started to get our house going. Victoria is living there right now, and loving life without roomates, but it has been a little barren considering we have had to furnish all of it ourselves. Well, thanks to our amazing parents, we have finally made it look like a home! Mindy and Marion came out this weekend to help Jayme and Max move back to Colorado, and were nice enough to help us out and buy us a few things from The Great and Spacious Building (IKEA) and both of our parents have been awesome about letting us have little bits and pieces from there houses. Honestly, without their help, we would be up a certain creek, without a paddle. We love you!

Actually, last week we were in a creek without a paddle. Well, we were in a river, with the paddles floating down in front of us. We floated down the Provo river last week in tubes we got for a couple bucks at a sports store. Everything was awesome until Victoria and I hit a support of a bridge and flipped our tube! Mostly it was just funny, but we now know that we must avoid that bridge at all costs. We looked rather silly getting flipped upside down.

Anyway, when it's not 2 in the morning I will get a post together with awesome pictures from Steves wedding, Lake Tahoe, and beautiful baby Halle!

Love

Jordan.

P.S. Kens, let me know if you want to learn the states in alphabetical order. I can teach you in a matter of minutes!
