A lot has happened in two short weeks!

It has been a few weeks since we last blogged. Actually the last time was on family vacation.  First vacation update. It was awesome. First we went to Gateway, Colorado (30 min south of Grand Junction). It was a sweet resort and we spent our first day there 4 wheeling

Family Vacation 2 072

That was a ton of fun. We went to Moab for a few days after Gateway and went on some awesome hikes and we rafted to Colorado River. It was sweet. Raft trip Moab 011

I think our favorite hike was to Delicate Arch. It's the arch on all the Utah license plates. It was such an awesome hike. BY280507

That actually isn't Delicate Arch, but close enough right? I don't have those pictures on my laptop.

So after we got back from vacation things kind of got nuts. Victoria's sister Rachel stayed with us for a week, so we went on a quest to see how many times we could go to 7 Peaks in 1 week. I was also working a lacrosse camp the whole week. On Wednesday I had an interview with a hockey/lacrosse company based out of North Carolina who was looking for a Utah/Colorado sales rep. I felt that was a pretty good fit for me. I had a great interview with the guy, and after he took Victoria and I out for dinner to Outback (yum) and we chatted lacrosse for a while.

I ended up getting the job, so I am headed out on Monday for North Carolina to do some training, and then I will be working in Utah and Colorado. I'm way excited, and so is Victoria.

In addition to a new job, we are also getting a new place! We are moving in 2 weeks, and we couldn't be more excited. For those of you who visited us this past year you may have noticed our easy bake oven in our 4x4 kitchen. I'm pretty sure we have like 200 square feet in our current house. We are moving a few blocks to The Lexington (ohh fancy) to a very nice 2 bedroom apartment and we are very excited about it. So if you are in town you should stop by and check it out.

Victoria has been busy with her photography business, she is really starting to get stuff figured out. She will most likely have her website up and running by the end of the month. She is trying to get into doing children photography and sports. She is amazing at both, so it will be fun to watch her.

Anyway, a big update. Life is good in Provo, and we are staying busy, between our jobs, 7 Peaks Season Passes, and everything there is to do in Provo, we are having fun!

Family Vacation Update 1

We are in Grand Junction, Colorado. The armpit of the state. Luckily we made it today, ole' Clutchy held on strong for us. We will be departing on the morrow for Gateway, Colorado. I'm not sure what it is a gateway to, but I'm praying it's not hell.

Also, 3 years ago I was arrested. Please refer to this webpage for more information concern said arrest.

Thank you Kayce for the great find. Please enjoy the mugshot, more like glamor shot. Do you see that zit?!?!

Anyway, should this "Gateway" be to fun, I shall report back and let you know. Everyone can soon find out what happens if you turn off at Grand Junction and keep going! (anyone who has driven it has wondered). It's late and I will regret posting my mugshot in the morning. Goodnight moon!

kali cut my hair!

So this morning I went into the salon that Kali is working at and she cut my hair! I actually was not nervous at all but pretty excited! Well I think that she did a great job (and Jordan likes it which matters most :) ) Give her some more practice and she is going to have her own salon in no time!

( by the way sorry for the bad picture! I think I am better at taking other peoples pictures and not my own, I will get some better ones soon!)

I have been very busy trying to get things going for my business! Today I ordered my business cards and I have been trying really hard to figure this website thing out. I refuse to use templates, Jordan and I are going to learn how to do it no matter how long it takes. Good thing I remember some html from that class I took at DU a few years back...... even though the teacher was evil. Anyways here is the home page (it may show up not centered, dont worry it will be).

Pictures I forgot I had.....

Well this is a first! Two posts in 24 hours, how wonderful is that!? So I was going through some of the pictures that I have taken in the last few weeks and found some from a night when we went to Utah lake with a few friends and my bother Colton. I actually was going to use them for a school project because they were so different however decided not to. Anyways I thought they were fun and so I thought I would put them up!

Jordan and Taylor pushing huge rocks into the lake. They were convinced they were going to release Godzilla or something ridiculous......

Steve.

Jordan contemplating which rock to push in next......

Colton skipping rocks.

RMCL championship!

This has been sort of a busy week! I am finally done with school until August (thank goodness I am SOOOOOOO sick of it!) And its looks like I have two more semesters plus like 3 classes until graduation, I cant wait. I have been busy making my new photography website which I can hopefully get up and running soon and I think Jordan also is making one for some things that he would like to start doing with design and video and all sorts of fun things! We have both been very creative this week. This weekend was the RMLC championships and BYU won, of course. They were both great games and I enjoyed watching them. The highlight of the week is when Justin got into a fight and started ringing this guys neck and another Elliot came from the side and tackled Justin so he wouldn't get a penalty. I think it was the most exciting thing that I have ever seen in a game!

I also must post this picture of Jordan at half time. Coach lamb made a comment about hockey that Jordan was pretty upset about and this was his reaction........
I'm glad my husband is so funny, he keeps life very amusing. Good thing I found him, life would be so boring without him! So things are going great in the lives of Jordan and Victoria. We are very excited for the National tournament in Dallas in a week, as well as our trip to Moab in a few weeks! Also just a side note, my brother Colton put his missionary papers in today! Anyone want to guess on where he is going!?!?!??!? My guess is either Detroit, Michigan or Ireland (in which case my grandpa Gogarty said he is going with him to be his companion, haha funny). We will post again soon!

The Oregon Coast

We just got back from Oregon yesterday, it was quite the trip. We went out for two lacrosse game, BYU vs. Oregon State and Oregon (BYU won both easily). It was an awesome trip. Neither Victoria or I had ever been to Oregon, so we were kind of surprised as to how beautiful it was there. BYU didn't play on Friday so we got a chance to do our own thing for the day, so a group of us took off for the Oregon Coast. It was BEAUTIFUL, and extremely fun.

At the beach in Florance, Oregon. It was an awesome little town. The weather was pretty cold, but it was still way fun to be at the beach. (She wasn't expecting me to pick her up)

We played in the sand for a while. Behind us is our friend Pat. He is actually 6 foot 7.

More good times in the sand

A few of the guys we were with decided to get in the Ocean. Mind you, it was freezing

They were frozen when they got out

After the beach we were on our way to the Heceta Lighthouse. Apparently it's one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. This was the view driving to it

We took a sweet winding road and ended up in a huge cove at the trailhead to the lighthouse. We ended up playing in the cove for a few hours, then hiking to lighthouse.

Taylor Redd and I in one of the caves. Thanks Mom for never getting my pinky fixed. Now I look like this.

The whole group of us (minus Pat. He was taking the picture)

When we finally hiked up to the lighthouse, it was awesome
Me being very pensive at the top

Anyway, it was a great trip and we had a blast. We now have a new thing on our list of things we want to do. Drive the entire Oregon coast. It was awesome. This week we have Conference championships in Salt Lake, and then we are off to Texas for the national tournament. Go Cougs.

Videos and Pictures

Victoria has taken over 3,000 pictures at the BYU games this season. It's pretty amazing (www.byulacrosse.zenfolio.com if you want to see them) So I wanted to get in on the media act. I helped make a highlight tape for the team last year (07, my senior year) and then I have been making some stuff to promote games and stuff. Here is my clip for the upcoming Utah game.
